  1. Oh, thanks, Chelsey! How fun that you are offering this - so many of you have been very complimentary of this debut novel. Would love to read it. :)

Golly! Favorite book of 2013 so far? Hmm... well either Grave Consequences by Lisa T. Bergren or Undeniably Yours by Becky Wade. Both of which could possibly be edged out by The Elite from Kiera Cass. Just because I love a good fairy-tale/fantasy novel. ;)

  2. I really liked Tarnish by Katherine Longshore (companion novel to Gilt). I received the ARC to review for School Library Journal, and couldn't put it down! It's a historical romance about Anne Boleyn before she marries King Henry VIII.

  10. Hmmm . . . this is hard. I think Shattered by Dani Petrey (suspense), Plain Scandal by Amanda Flowers (mystery), Cast of Stones by Patrick Carr (fantasy), Tutor's Daughter by Julie Klassen (historical), Fairest Beauty by Melanie Dickeron (young adult), Rock Harbor Search & Rescue by Colleen Coble & Robin Carrol (upper elementary/middle school mystery), Daughter of Light by Morgan Busse (speculative fiction) . . . oh, wait, did you mean ONE from each genre or just ONE title???? I read too many to make it only ONE title.

  27. Oh goodness! I've read close to 60 books already in 2013 and it's going to be difficult. I'm torn between 'Take a Chance on Me' by Susan May Warren and 'Undeniably Yours' by Becky Wade. Those two moved me beyond words at times. However, Heiress of Winterwood was an outstanding regency for first time author Sarah Ladd.

  28. It is a toss up between Destiny's Embrace by Beverly Jenkins, Unrivaled by Siri Mitchell and The Forgotten Queen by D.L. Bogdan...I like the sample that I have read by Sarah Ladd though and I am looking forward to finishing it one way or another!
