Q: This
Sunday in the U.S. is Mother’s Day, in celebration, what are some of your
favorite books with strong mother/child relationships?
My Answer: I would probably have to say
The Joy Luck Club because it is one
of the best books that shows the complexity of how teenage girls are able to bond
with their mothers. I also love the movie, but I do not think that it does the
book justice!
It has been a very long time since I read that book, but I remember really liking it. I wouldn't admit it at the time, though, because I read it for school. Twice, I think. I went to a few different schools.
ReplyDeleteI've never read that book. I'll have to check it out.

I have heard of that book, but never read it or seen the movie. Maybe I'll have to check it out! :)

The movie usually doesn't do the book justice! Like at all in the ones that I've seen! Harry Potter does a fairly good job though! Off topic now.
ReplyDeleteBut nice! Haven't read that one, but glad to hear fiction has its good moms!
Here's my Friday Hops

Hi, happy Friday! I haven't heard of this one before, but I'm sorry that the film didn't live up the book. By the way, new follower here! Hope you can stop by my blog sometime. :)

Never read this series and sorry the movie didnt live up to the book! Sadly it seems that most movies based on books end that way.
