Follow Me Friday (4)

Q: This Sunday in the U.S. is Mother’s Day, in celebration, what are some of your favorite books with strong mother/child relationships?

My Answer: I would probably have to say The Joy Luck Club because it is one of the best books that shows the complexity of how teenage girls are able to bond with their mothers. I also love the movie, but I do not think that it does the book justice!

  1. It has been a very long time since I read that book, but I remember really liking it. I wouldn't admit it at the time, though, because I read it for school. Twice, I think. I went to a few different schools.

  7. The movie usually doesn't do the book justice! Like at all in the ones that I've seen! Harry Potter does a fairly good job though! Off topic now.

But nice! Haven't read that one, but glad to hear fiction has its good moms!
